Our in-house laboratory runs a full analytical panel on every production batch—acid value, peroxide value, fatty acid profile by gas chromatography (GC-FID), unsaponifiable fraction, tocopherols, regulatory contaminants. No batch leaves our site without a certificate of analysis signed off by our quality manager.
This analytical panel is our specification commitment—not an administrative formality.

GC fatty acid profiling and unsaponifiable fraction analysis form the dual analytical fingerprint of every Folk Oils oil. These two markers verify botanical authenticity, detect any adulteration and trace each batch back to source raw material—producer, harvest date, inbound lot number.
