Folk Oils operates under direct management in which every decision affecting product quality, regulatory compliance or supply conditions is assigned to an identified, documented and traceable authority.

There is no grey area between a decision and the accountability that follows — whether for our vegetable oils, our plant proteins or co-products from our valorization chain.

Commercial integrity

Folk Oils applies a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of corruption, facilitation payments or conflicts of interest. This policy binds without exception leadership, staff and all commercial representatives in every market where we operate.

Our purchasing terms with producer cooperative networks are based on multi-year commitments at fair prices. We do not practice short-term margin optimization upstream in our value chain.

No raw material substitution and no blending outside contractual definition may occur without prior notification and explicit customer agreement. This rule is absolute.

Chain traceability & transparency

Our direct vertical integration model — from producer cooperative to extraction site, from in-house laboratory to shipping dock — enables documented, verifiable traceability at every step of the value chain.

Every lot is documented before shipment — without prior request.

Every delivered lot includes the full analytical and regulatory dossier required for our customers’ target markets: certificate of analysis, certificate of origin, safety data sheet, traceability records. These documents are issued before loading, systematically, without prior request.
When a deviation is detected in production, it is communicated to the relevant partner before shipment. This practice is unconditional.

Direct supply chain

The direct chain with our producer cooperative networks ensures fair remuneration at source and the long-term security of our raw material supply.
Full valorization

Full valorization of extraction co-products — including our plant proteins — places our production in a circular logic with no unvalorized residue.
Carbon footprint

Per-lot carbon footprint tracking provides partners with the data they need for their own ESG and Scope 3 compliance.

This architecture is auditable. It relies on production data, third-party certifications and traceability records — not on statements.

Human rights & working conditions

Folk Oils respects the fundamental conventions of the International Labour Organization across all its operations and supply relationships. Working conditions within our production chain are monitored regularly, independently of certification framework obligations.

Supplier audits

Folk Oils is available for supplier audits, site visits and technical exchanges with the quality, procurement and compliance teams of its industrial partners. These requests are handled without restriction in principle and integrated into our standard supplier qualification process.

Partners wishing to verify Folk Oils’ compliance with their own code of conduct requirements are invited to submit their questionnaire to our dedicated team.

Folk Oils continuously maintains compliance with regulatory frameworks applicable to its target markets. This covers food safety requirements, certified organic claims, traceability obligations, customs rules of origin and labeling standards in force in the European Union, the United States, Gulf countries and Asia-Pacific.
